Job Duties

• Provide leadership and technical guidance of accounting policy development and financial reporting for a growing organization that is looking to quadruple in the next four years

• Responsible for technical accounting and SEC reporting

• Own monthly financial reporting, prepare SEC filings and GAAP measures, prepare and distribute monthly statements, work with the accounting team to implement best practices

• Report directly to the VP, Controller who is know for being a great mentor and setting direct reports up for success

• Direct report responsibility leading a team of three

• Flexible hybrid work schedule – 2 days remote / 3 days in office

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting required and/ or similar related field

Experience & Skills Required

• Big 4 or National-Firm Audit Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required and/ or similar related field

• CPA Required

• 5+ years of combined Public Accounting and Private Industry accounting experience

• Experience in biotech, life sciences field desired, but not required

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting required.

• Public company SEC reporting experience in big pharma or biotech is a plus

• Experience with Netsuite is a plus
