Opportunity Description

International Training Center located in Miami is looking for a long term contract Training Coordinator. 

Position Summary:

Coordinates training events with Crewmembers and Instructors for qualification to meet all FAA and Company crew training requirements.

Qualified candidates must be available to work 40 hours per week on site including one day on the weekend. 

Job Duties

  • Coordinates a comprehensive training schedule while complying with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Company requirements
  • Monitors training flow to ensure that all crewmembers are assigned the appropriate training events in accordance to the Flight Operations Training Manual.
  • Tracks and documents progress to ensure completion of required training programs.
  • Utilize working knowledge of scheduling technology as a tool to solve planning and scheduling problems
  • Reviews scheduling forecasts and assigns training accordingly to ensure efficient and cost effective training
  • Determines monthly Training Instructor and Check Airmen staffing requirements. 
  • Coordinates with Crew Scheduling, Flight Operations leadership and other related departments to communicate
  • training progress, currency and availability to ensure crewmembers are legal for flight assignments.
  • Responsible for crewmember training notifications through AIMS
  • Generates crewmember training reports while also monitoring/tracking ground and simulator training.
  • Monitor crewmember and instructor schedules to meet days off requirements and avoid rest violations

 

Education

Minimum High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma

Bachelor's Degree is a plus

 

Experience & Skills Required

Minimum of two (2) years of Airline Scheduling or related experience required

Minimum of one (1) year experience with specific crew management software application preferred.

Airline Information Management System (AIMS) is a plus

 

Must be able to work effectively in a collaborative team based environment

Knowledge of all relevant Federal Aviation Regulations a plus

Self-starter, enthusiastic, dependable, and professional team player. Must possess excellent interpersonal,

communication, and organization skills
