Job Duties

  • Have a firm understanding of billing rules for clients
  • Ensure all posting is conducted in a timely fashion to provide accurate reporting to clients
  • Ensure orders ship as required and communicate failures to clients
  • Scan BOL’s/COA to clients/consignee as needed/required
  • Prioritize work load based on shipping dates and services to ensure warehouse has ample time to prepare shipments
  • Maintain a clean and organized desk
  • Effectively communicate with clients in problem solving
  • Effectively communicate with Transportation dept regarding outbounds
  • Ensure all shipments are scheduled properly
  • Communicate effectively with upper management as required
  • Run reports for clients as required
  • File all BOL’s/Receipts in a timely manner
  • Cross train with other accounts
  • Maintain a file on each client with specific requirements/needs and update as needed

Experience & Skills Required

  • 6 months-1 year  freight industry or related transportation/logistics exp.
  • Basic computer and English language skills
