Job Duties
Labor and Delivery Nurses provide care and support for women before, during and after delivery of the baby. They are responsible for making sure that the medical as well as the emotional needs of the patient are adequately met throughout the entire birthing process. Must be able to work nursery in addition to labor & delivery, as well as postpartum ; Exp in antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological non-obstetrical patients
Education
Degree from an accredited Registered Nursing program
Experience & Skills Required
2 years labor and Delivery experience including ante and post partum.Level 1 Perinatal Center;
Prior travel experience
EPIC experience
Certifications
NY RN license
BLS (AHA)
NRP
STABLE, ACLS preferred
